For each Crybaby Subscription Box, we think that it’s very important to highlight the makers and the movers that made each box happen. The purpose of the box is to spread support and love while also supporting creatives and their endeavors. These are their stories.
"When I started reading the interviews and stories I was really surprised by both the vulnerability and the kindness between the ladies in the group," Molly said.
Molly was attracted to the sense of community built within the group, especially when competition amongst women is so prevalent in today's society. Due to this support, Molly wanted to become a part of it and donated her own work to our next subscription box.
Our next box is featuring her stunning hand-drawn postcards of sweet little succulents. She wanted to donate postcards to facilitate the nearly lost art of snail mail.
"There is something about it that is so thoughtful and that is like a little ray of sunshine in a person's day," Molly said.
She talked about how she had an account in her small-town bank years ago and she would find a hand-written note every year on her birthday waiting for her (from the bank, but none-the-less, it was still touching). After years of experiencing this simple joy, she wanted to give it to others.
"After writing a few notes, I could see that people felt cared for," Molly said. It quickly became her favorite way to reconnect with old friends and to make new ones.
In the future, Molly hopes to continue her work with snail mail and is also working on getting her many projects that are in her head out onto the page (which may include a watercolor workshop in the near future....) Stay tuned.

Her Message to Fellow Crybabies:
Engage in activities that connect you to something larger than yourself, like hiking the woods, experiencing a delicious meal or beautiful piece of music. Find a positive friend. Someone who will lift you up and encourage you to be the best that you can be.
