Behind the Scenes: Cooper Young Festival

This past weekend, we had the opportunity to have our own booth at the Cooper Young Festival in Memphis. It was our first festival and it was such an adventure (in the best way).

After getting two hours of sleep, we woke up at 4:30 in the morning to get prepared for the day with coffee, doughnuts and wine because you don't need anything else to have a good day.

After some kerfluffles with setting up (who knew setting up a tent could be so hard?), our booth was all pink and all ready for the day.

In all honesty, we are going to be living on the high of this event for a long time (possibly for the rest of our lives). There were more than 15,000 people at Cooper Young and we had the pleasure of meeting so many of you. Your smiles and pure joy were intoxicating. Words can't even begin to describe how much your excitement about us and our cause means to us.

All day, we heard so many stories and got so many hugs. From the one girl who cried because we were exactly what she needed after being dumped (you're so much better off. Trust us), to the man (named Cassius. Hello, coolest name ever) who made us cocktails and was the best salesperson we've ever met and to the women who bought each other cards and cried over their meaning----Thank you. Thank you for making our lives so bright. This is for you.
